Dybwad-Olsen AS has a history going back to 1928, when H. Hornemann established a company in Oslo in his own name, dealing with marine bunkers and lubricants. Since then, the company has represented Gulf Oil in Norway, and later Chevron Petroleum after the Chevron - Gulf merger in 1984. The company changed to its present name in 1979, when Ola Dybwad-Olsen took over as sole owner and manager.

Following the take over of Hornemann, Dybwad-Olsen AS reorganised and expanded its activities within the agency and marketing of products and services to the shipping industry. Today we are running a small agency business from our offices at Lysaker outside the center of Oslo. Three people are actively involved in the daily operations and one further person on accounting. Our past bunker business company, Euro-Oil AS shared offices and facilities with Dybwad-Olsen AS until the merger with Aagaard Bunker Brokers AS in May, 2000. Later called Wilhelmsen Bunkers AS. Today we have a consultancy agreement and share offices with Integ8 Fuels Oslo. A company in the Navig8 Group, with offices in London, Oslo and Singapore.
